Fleeterzen ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our fleet management platform at fleeterzen.com and app.fleeterzen.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, company name, and password when you register.
Driver information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and ID numbers of drivers you add to your account.
Job and operational data: Job details, pickup and delivery addresses, scheduled dates, and job status updates you create.
GPS location data: GPS coordinates recorded during active jobs when drivers use the platform.
Usage data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the Service.
Payment information: Billing is handled by Paddle (our payment processor). We do not store your card details.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate the Service:
- Supabase — database hosting (EU region)
- Clerk — user authentication
- Paddle — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Twilio — SMS notifications
- Vercel / Railway — application hosting
All providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
5. GPS and Location Data
GPS tracking is only active during job sessions when a driver taps "Start Job". Location data is stored to provide route history to fleet administrators. Drivers are informed of GPS tracking through the app interface.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted authentication tokens, and role-based access controls. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@fleeterzen.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the Service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
